We are a young and growing company, founded in 2017 by our director Chris Barber. After over 30 years of building, repairing and designing equipment for the semiconductor industry across the UK and the United States, he embarked on building a company where he could have complete autonomy over its products and designs. In doing this he has been able to create original and bespoke products for Semiquip’s customers and our repertoire is continually growing.

We can design a wide range of equipment used in the semiconductor industry, including but not limited to: chambers, transfer mechanisms, substrate heaters, effusion and OLED sources and furnaces.

Semiquip Ltd design and manufacture scientific equipment, supplying research establishments and OEMs. We have a fully equipped workshop that allows us to rapid prototype, including a CNC dedicated to machining graphite and carbon composite elements and machinable ceramics.
